Millard Shields Rockets 3 Home Runs: Fans are still buzzing after Bay City whipped the Green Bay Golden Eagles by the score of 6-0 today at Northwood Park.

Millard Shields smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times.

At the postgame press conference, Shields said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.

"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Shields said. "Three is just... wow."

Millard Shields hit a two-run home run off Geoffrey McDonald in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Geoffrey McDonald in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Juan Pérez in the 8th.

In 30 games this year Shields has posted a .296 average and put up these numbers: 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
