Mariachis Sweep Pine Island in 3L AA Championship: The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis made quick work of the Pine Island Dolphins in the 3L AA Championship, sweeping them aside to clinch the 1st M3L Double A crown in Mariachis history.
Nuevo Mexico sealed the series today at Mariachi Band Shell with a 4-2 victory. During the regular season play, the Mariachis notched a 61-41 record and wound up in first place in the Menard's AA race.
"I won't say it was easy, because baseball games are rarely easy," said Nuevo Mexico manager Steve Bryan. "But I did expect we would have to play a much longer series."
