Madsen Stands Out in Baltimore Shutout: All went well for Allen Madsen of the Baltimore Lords as he pitched his team to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Los Angeles Pobladores, limiting them to 5 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Madsen on the day.
"Allen's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Lords manager Jordan Wells. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."
