League Gives LaFerriere and McGuire 3-Game Suspensions: Bad blood could be brewing between the Indians and the Rolling Thunder. In yesterday's contest at Riflemen Ballpark, Kinston's Zachary LaFerriere and Janesville's Tripp McGuire caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only LaFerriere and McGuire were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 3 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

LaFerriere on the season is batting .337 with 4 home runs. His totals include 32 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 54 games.

Thus far this season, McGuire has worked 24.1 innings with 24 strikeouts en route to a 1-0 record and a 4.81 ERA.
