In yesterday's contest at Riflemen Ballpark, Kinston's Zachary LaFerriere and Janesville's Tripp McGuire caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only LaFerriere and McGuire were ejected by the umpires.
Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 3 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.
League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.
