López Gone for Season in Arizona: The Arizona Javelina were dealt a blow today when second baseman Javier López left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that López has suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury.

Thus far this season López is hitting .241 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 203 at-bats and has played in 69 games.
