Kropp Blisters Fresno: Vicksburg first baseman Owen Kropp had a day to remember today, 5-for-7 against the Fresno Chilies at The Chili Pepper as the Dirtbags picked up a 18-17 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Vicksburg skipper Teddy Brown told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Kropp has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Owen Kropp struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Branden Larsen in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.

So far this season, Kropp has recorded a .326 batting average with 76 hits, 7 home runs, 29 RBIs, 43 runs scored and a .409 OBP.
