King Blasts 3 out of the Park: Minnesota Twins first baseman Armon King sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little.

Prior to the start of today's contest with the Seattle Mariners, King told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times.

"During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber."

The big day from King pushed the Twins past the Mariners, 4-2. To go along with the homers, he collected 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

"I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," King told reporters after the game.

Armon King flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jase Feller in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jase Feller in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jase Feller in the 8th.

This season in 86 games King is batting .263 with 17 home runs, 38 RBIs and has scored 34 times.
