Keg Creek's Parker Out 4-5 Weeks: The Keg Creek Coyotes learned that Jesse Parker is likely to be out for 4-5 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Richmond Ravens. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a sore elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Keg Creek manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Jesse is back in action."

So far this year Parker has made 15 starts, tossed 95 innings, struck out 115 batters and walked 27. His record is 6-3 with a 2.94 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .253 batting average.
