It's a No-No for Moore: In a brilliant performance at Washington Grounds, Memphis pitcher Bob Moore entered an elite group by tossing a no-hitter today against the Washington Montlake Malamutes.
In the effort, he fanned 8 and walked 0, leading the Belles to a 6-0 victory.
"I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball," Moore said in the clubhouse after the game. "My guys made some nice plays behind me and cut off several hits, too."
