It's Over: Mounties Stop Carter: The Vancouver Mounties did something to Cameron Carter no team had done for the last 22 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Grays, who came away with the 5-3 victory at Robin Roberts Field.

"Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 23-year-old center fielder said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted."

Posting a .271 batting average to date, Carter has 8 home runs and 42 RBIs.
