Ingall of Santiago Named Best Pitcher: Scott Ingall joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the South America Baseball League Pitcher of the Year Award for 2050.

The 21-year-old hurler finished the year 13-6 for the Santiago Tabaqueros, piling up 165 innings, registering 199 strikeouts and walking 35 on his way to a solid 2.56 ERA.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10. Juan Ordóñez of the Santa Cruz Serpientes finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Markùri Siliqi of the Bogota Caballeros Blancos finished third.
