Hurricanes Pitching Ravaged by Woods: Gabe Woods did more than his part as the Oklahoma Sooners topped the Miami Hurricanes today at Mark Light Field. The Sooners shortstop pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 13-4 thumping of the Hurricanes. Gabe Woods singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Isaac Heck in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Woods is currently batting .211 with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs.
