Hollywood-Boca Raton Fight Results in Suspensions: Mustafa Thomas of the Hollywood Spoonbills and Murray Green of the Boca Raton Buccaneers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Spoonbills-Buccaneers game at Roger Dean Stadium.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Thomas and Green will begin serving them soon.
In 46 games this season Thomas has compiled a .198 batting average with 17 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 14 times and knocked in 8 runs.
So far this season Green has compiled a 3-0 record with a 5.07 ERA.
