Hitting Streak Still Alive for Carter: Win or lose, Cameron Carter just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games.

The Barre Grays center fielder went 1-for-3 today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 7-2 by the Erie Roadrunners at Robin Roberts Field.

"It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him."
Cameron Carter flied out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.

This season Carter is batting .264 with 7 home runs. His totals include 37 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
