Hit Parade: Kochan Pops 5 Hits: Oklahoma first baseman James Kochan had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Pacific Tigers at Ballpark of San Diego College as the Sooners picked up a 10-4 victory.
"He was patient up there today," Oklahoma skipper Jaquan Jones told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Kochan has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
James Kochan singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Turner Alls in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
So far this season Kochan has put up a .359 batting average with 42 hits, 6 home runs and 17 RBIs.
