Message:
Hit Parade: Boyd Pops 5 Hits: A jubilant Randy Boyd joined the postgame press conference at Ballpark of Cleveland today to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Cleveland Bobcats pitching staff he had just vanquished.

"It may not have looked like it," said the Puhi Dolphins shortstop, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different."

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-6 hitting performance, which led the Dolphins to a 12-2 win.

"He made it look easy," said Ed Gainer, manager of the Bobcats. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

Randy Boyd hit a two-run home run off Elliot bin Yushua in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

In his season totals, Boyd has 20 home runs, .358 BA, .464 OBP, 85 RBIs and 72 runs scored. He has played in 101 games.
