Hevner Slams 5 Hits for Tulsa: It seemed Tulsa Twisters right fielder Colton Hevner could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right.
The Twisters fell against the Boise Bluegills by the score of 8-7. Hevner did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Boise prevailed at Ballpark of Arlington.
"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Hevner said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."
Colton Hevner doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Garrick Shinuni in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
Currently Hevner has 4 home runs and a .292 batting average.
