Harbor Hawks Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire: Cape Cod League pundits who figured the Round 2 between the Hyannis Harbor Hawks and Wareham Gatemen would go the distance were right on the mark.

The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Hyannis coming out on top thanks to a 3-0 win in the deciding game at McKeon Park, to wrap things up 2-1.

"You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Harbor Hawks center fielder Raymond Trainor, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Trainor had 5 hits for a .417 average. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 1 runs.

The Cape Cup matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
