Hamilton and Price Suspended 4 Games: Collin Hamilton of the Auburn Venom was not happy with Clarence Price, and his frustration showed when he went after the Charleston player during yesterday's game at Expositions Ballpark. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as Hamilton and Price were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game.

Both players were suspended 4 games by the league office as a result of their tussle.

"It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," Hamilton commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings."

Hamilton is swinging at a .247 pace on the year with 20 home runs, 58 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has played in 83 games.

This season Price has crafted a 2-1 mark with a 4.50 ERA in 54 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .286 against him and he has 42 strikeouts.
