Hafner Bombs 3 HR Against Cancun: Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Todd Hafner can celebrate.

The New Orleans Rougarous designated hitter powered three into the stands at The House that Shue Built today against the Cancun Toros.

"It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Hafner told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one."

In all, he was 3-for-5 as the Rougarous toppled Cancun by a score of 10-2, knocking in 3 runs and scoring 3 times.

"He is blessed with a natural home run swing," New Orleans manager said. "He gets the ball up in the air."

Todd Hafner flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Perry Hotter in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Beta Bombs in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Sun-sin Yi in the 9th.

Posting a .198 batting average to date, Hafner has 10 home runs and 27 RBIs.
