Grim Triumphs in PL A Championship: The Grim faithful were cheering in the streets, and South Beach fans wiping away the tears, after the Reapers won the PL A Championship at The Coffin today.
The Reapers clinched it by knocking off the Blaze 1-0 to take their 3rd USPL Single A crown. Grim took the series 2-1.
"This club never gave up all year long," Grim manager Terrence Eler told the press. "They believed they could win the title and they did."
On the way to the PL A Championship title, Grim compiled a 60-36 won-loss record and finished second in the Premier A.
"We just didn't play well enough to win," Blaze manager Vicente Rodríguez said. "We just didn't make the big plays like they did."
