The Pompano Beach Aqua Sox reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Sanibel Sailors and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Zelaya was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months.
