The Casper Ghosts starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Idaho Falls Chukars and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Van Camp was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months.
