Garret Miller Injured, Out for Season: When Garret Miller was hurt against the Reading Railers, the Evansville Hit Kings were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old second baseman suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Miller would miss 10 months of the season.

In the current season, Miller has put up a .281 batting average with 39 hits, 3 home runs, 19 runs batted in and scored 16 runs.
