Gage Haislip Wallops 3 Homers for Dolphins: San Diego Dolphins right fielder Gage Haislip put on a dazzling display of power today at San Diego Park against the Bloomington Cardinals. In the 6-4 Dolphins victory Haislip penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.

"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Bloomington manager Cristian Stamps said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."

Along with his three home runs, the 23-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Haislip said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."

Gage Haislip hit a two-run home run off Rupert Ishikawa in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Rupert Ishikawa in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Scott Hebel in the 8th.

To date Haislip has chalked up a .320 average with 12 home runs, driven in 33 runs and scored 33 times.
