Forcier Booms 3 Homers: Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Jimmy Forcier can celebrate.

The Indianapolis Clowns third baseman powered three into the stands at T-Mobile Park today against the Seattle Mariners.

"It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Forcier told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one."

In all, he was 3-for-5 as the Clowns toppled Seattle by a score of 7-1, knocking in 5 runs and scoring 3 times.

"He is blessed with a natural home run swing," Indianapolis manager Chris Breakfield said. "He gets the ball up in the air."

Jimmy Forcier hit a solo-shot off Jase Feller in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jase Feller in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Mark Heap in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.

So far this season Forcier has put up a .290 batting average with 107 hits, 17 home runs and 57 RBIs.
