Flamingos Prevail, as Semi-FInals Goes to the Wire: It went the distance, but the Florida Flamingos finally disposed of the Kansas City Hepcats 9-4 in the series clincher at Wilkie Stadium.
Winning the finale gave the Flamingos the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the World Series.
The Most Valuable Player Award went to Florida right fielder Javithony Brizzo. He batted .414 in the series, collecting 7 RBIs and scoring 8 runs.
"Javithony deserves it," said Flamingos manager . "He was the glue that held our club together."
