Escobar Packs a Wallop -- Hits 3 HR Against Expos: Damien Escobar was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-3 Toronto Blue Jays triumph at Rogers Centre today.

The 27-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Blue Jays past the Montreal Expos.

"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Escobar told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."

The right fielder went 5-for-5, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.

Damien Escobar singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off D'sean McCray in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Robinson Kaizer in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Williams in the 8th.

Presently Escobar is batting .289 with 49 home runs and 150 RBIs. He has played in 150 games and scored 104 times.
