Done Deal: Curtis for Hilt: BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the San Diego Padres and Boston Red Sox has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 26-year old CF Stephan Curtis to Boston in return for 29-year old minor league CF Rex Hilt and $1 in cash. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it.
For the season Curtis is hitting .270, batted in 22 runs with no home runs and 44 runs scored.
