Dickerson Parks 3 HR in the Seats: Today was a special one for Alex Dickerson of the Durham Bulls as he slammed three home runs in the 12-4 win over the Norfolk Tides.

"Lately, I've been uppercutting the ball too much," he said to sportswriters after the game. "I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark. No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em."

The Durham left fielder collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 4 runs in the contest at Harbor Park.

Alex Dickerson struck out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Johnny Cueto in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Johnny Cueto in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jimmy Yacabonis in the 9th.
