Message:
Davis Smashes 3 Homers for Pueblo: Pueblo Indians third baseman Steven Davis sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little.

Prior to the start of today's contest with the Missoula Osprey, Davis told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times.

"During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber."

The big day from Davis pushed the Indians past the Osprey, 11-5. To go along with the homers, he collected 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

"I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Davis told reporters after the game.

Steven Davis hit a two-run home run off Al Jennings in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Kwanzaa Mosley in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Kwanzaa Mosley in the 7th.

Davis is batting at a .196 pace this season, picking up 10 hits in 51 at-bats with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
