Message:
Darby Batters Harrisburg Big Time: Today at Santa Ana Grounds, Randall Darby put on an impressive display.

The San Diego Dolphins first baseman tagged Harrisburg pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Harrisburg Capitals by the score of 9-8.

"The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," Darby said. "5-for-6 ain't bad in any league."

Despite the terrific performance, the Dolphins manager was unwilling to offer the first baseman much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses.

"Randall told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Devin Allen said.

Randall Darby hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, doubled in the 11th and walked in the 14th.

This season Darby is batting .315 with 7 home runs. His totals include 36 RBIs and 36 runs scored.
