Cramer and Hansen Dealt: It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Washington Bats and New Orleans Voodoo finalized a trade today. Washington will send 21-year old minor league CF Darrin Cramer and a 5th round draft pick to the Voodoo, while the Bats will receive 27-year old CF Amani Hansen.

"We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," Bats general manager Matthew Pittman said.

The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day.

Thus far this year Hansen is batting .261 with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
