Crabs Advance to Conference Finals: The excitement in Providence is palpable as the local club has advanced through the Divisional Series.
The Providence Crabs downed the San Antonio Sloths 5-1 tonight at The Pot, to take the series 3-1.
"Things are going to get crazy in Providence for the Conference Finals. The fans are going to be behind us 100 percent, we know that," said Dustin Johnson, who earned MVP honors.
"There's a lot of motivation in our clubhouse right now to make sure we give them something to cheer about."
For the series, Johnson hit .375 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 6 hits, 1 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 1 runs.
