Message:
Colón Smashes 200th Homer: Back-back-back-gone! Willie Colón hit his 200th home run tonight against the Seattle Sea Serpents.

Colón, of the Outer Banks Aviators, smiled as he rounded all the bases and got mobbed by his teammates at home plate.

The game did stop momentarily as the Aviators celebrated this accomplishment.

"I was swinging for the fences and the pitch looked like a giant grape fruit," Colón said. "This is another check off my bucket list. I'll now be setting my sights the next milestone."

The Aviators right fielder went 3 for 5 with 1 home run and 3 RBI as the Outer Banks Aviators won 10-8 over the Seattle Sea Serpents.

In his 904-game career Colón has tagged 944 hits with 219 doubles, 28 triples and 200 home runs. His lifetime batting average is .280 with 654 RBIs and 610 runs scored.
