Cobras Win Round 1: Can Tho Cobras fans are rejoicing after a 7-3 win at Beach Boys Ballpark has propelled the club to a 4-1 Round 1 victory over the Corpus Christi Beach Boys.
With the win, the club advanced on to the Round 2.
"Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said Can Tho right fielder Albin Fisker, who was named series MVP.
The Can Tho Cobras don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Baltimore Sharks - Vermont Expos series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
