Chicago, New York Agree to Swap: The Chicago Cougars have made a deal sending 37-year old 2B Rabbit Mudd to the New York Stars for 22-year old minor league CF Art Goins. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out.

Chicago will retain a portion of Mudd's remaining contract.

Lifetime Mudd is hitting .269 and has totaled 37 home runs.
