Champions Announces Best Batter Award: Things came easily for Max Bennigsen in June, and the Indianapolis center fielder has been named the Champions Conference Batter of the Month.
He won the award on the strength of a .418 batting average, in addition to 10 home runs, 30 RBIs, 29 runs scored and a .495 on-base percentage.
Thus far this year Bennigsen has hit .326 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs.
