They have ousted the Honolulu High Tide in a sweep, the final win coming by a 7-2 score, clinching the 2-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said David MacKey, who was named MVP for the series.
MacKey hit .833 with a .889 on-base percentage. He added 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Cape Canaveral Launch will play against the Richmond Ravens in the next round. Richmond had a bye in the Round 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
