Braves Hand Out Rest Of Season: When Bourne reliever Craig Hand was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Braves-Mariners game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Hand had sustained bone chips in his elbow and will be out for about 7-8 months.

To date he has nailed down 0 saves for his club. In 8 relief appearances, Hand has 12 strikeouts in 13.2 innings with a 11.85 ERA and a 0-1 mark.
