Bouet Rocks Beavers for 3 HRs: Whatever Christophe Bouet ate for breakfast before his game against the Ballard Beavers today, it gave him some impressive power.
The Ellesmere Island center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at The Igloo. His home run barrage led the Snowpeople to take the 4-2 victory over the Beavers.
"When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all."
On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-3, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember.
Christophe Bouet hit a solo-shot off Steve Crabtree in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Steve Crabtree in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off Steve Crabtree in the 6th.
