Bombardier Baker the HR Challenge Champ: Ground Control to Major Tom: We have a champion in this year's Home Run Challenge. Justin Baker is his name. The Vermont Lake Monsters left fielder launched rocket after rocket into orbit en route to the title.
He topped Joe Ward in the final round by a score of 20-19.

"I knew it would be tough," said Baker. "I knew it would take my best effort."

In his career Baker has played in 2438 games with a .271 batting average. Among his 2550 hits are 188 doubles, 33 triples and 986 home runs. He also has scored 1754 runs and driven in 2157 runs.
