Bodnar Batters Buffalo Big Time: All game long, Boise's Vladimir Bodnar was rattling the walls at The Power House and banging out base hits against the Buffalo Surge. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Raptors had a 16-9 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 27-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Vladimir Bodnar hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, flied out in the 11th and hit a two-run double in the 12th.
This year Bodnar is batting .263 with 50 hits, 10 home runs, 40 RBIs, 20 walks, .338 OBP and has scored 24 runs.
