Big Win for Cubs Clark, Gets Save #300: Chris Clark of the Chicago Cubs pitched his way into the exclusive 300-save club today at Marlins Park by saving the 7-4 victory over the Miami Marlins. In his historic outing, he surrendered no runs and no hits in 1 innings.
"Yeah, it can be a stressful job sometimes," the 35-year-old Clark told reporters after the game. "But there's a thrill that comes with being out there in a big situation every time. Hopefully I can close out a few more before I call it a career." Since making his debut, Clark has accounted for 300 saves.
