Becerra and King Swapped: 36-year old SS Leon Becerra, 34-year old 2B Cedric Mondragon, 35-year old RF John Shortall, and $1 in cash will now be playing for the Kansas City Royals and 29-year old LF Pete King will be suiting up for the California Angels. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials.

California will retain a portion of Mondragon's remaining contract.

Kansas City will retain a portion of King's remaining contract.
