Bang-up Game: Baker Slams 3 Homers: In a powerful performance that left the fans at Washington Grounds buzzing, Illinois Chiefs left fielder Tim Baker blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 11-3 win over the Washington Montlake Malamutes.

"Everything was clicking," Baker told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."

Baker shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Chiefs manager Josh Miles said. "Tim played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."

Tim Baker hit a two-run home run off Millard Phillips in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Fernando Sánchez in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Ernesto Aguilar in the 9th.

This year Baker is hitting .235 with 14 home runs and 29 RBIs in 52 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .309 with 19 walks and 30 runs scored.
