Bad Behavior Costs Gent and Corona: After an intense confrontation, both the Drummers Frazer Gent and the Nobles Juan Corona were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Tortolita-Bakersfield game. Frazer Gent will miss 4 games, while Juan Corona was suspended for 9 games.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Frazer Gent commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

So far this year Gent is hitting .260 with 8 home runs.

This year Corona has a 6-2 mark in 17 starts with a 2.95 ERA. He has given up 46 hits in 82.1 innings, struck out 91 and issued 46 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .164 batting average against him.
