Bad Behavior Costs Burnett and Hinkamp: Yesterday at The Dungeon in Halifax Ron Burnett and Wulf Hinkamp got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Nova Scotia Leviathan and Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Burnett will have to sit out 3 while Hinkamp would be given a 7-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.

Burnett is presently hitting at a .196 pace with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 78 games and scored 33 times.

This year Hinkamp has posted a record of 5 wins and 4 losses with a 4.64 ERA. He has appeared in 16 games and struck out 83 in 83.1 innings.
