Atlanta Trades Vela for Baltimore's Fernandez: A trade was announced today at a press conference in Atlanta. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Atlanta Braves general manager shook things up by acquiring 27-year old minor league RHP Julian Fernandez and 31-year old minor league RHP Julian Merryweather from the Baltimore Orioles for 24-year old minor league LHP Noel Vela and 24-year old minor league LHP Brendan Murphy.
