Athletic Club KC's Ramos Will Miss Season: The doctors have spoken and Diego Ramos of the Athletic Club KC U-21 didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Ramos sustained his season-ending injury during the Ogallala Octopi game yesterday at Nebraska Aquarium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Athletic Club KC medical staff reported Ramos had a fractured elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.
